EUROPEAN CROSSING

Day 1: (Sunday) BOGOTÁ - MADRID.

Departure from your city of origin with final destination Madrid. Overnight on board.

Day 2: (Monday) MADRID.

arrival in Madrid. transfer to the hotel. in the afternoon we include a panoramic tour of the city, where we will visit the most representative monuments such as the royal palace, Cibeles fountain or Paseo del Prado with its museums. we end the visit in the Plaza Mayor, where you can enjoy the nightlife of this area.

Day 3: (Tuesday) MADRID.

Free day. Optionally we offer you to visit the historic city of Toledo.

Day 4: (Wednesday) MADRID- SAN SEBASTIAN- BORDEAUX.

Early departure from Madrid, mountain passes, lands of Castilla. Beautiful landscapes in the Basque Country. San Sebastian, arrival at lunch time. Time for lunch and stroll through the old town or along the beautiful beach of La Concha. Continuation of route to France. Bordeaux, arrival in the late afternoon. We suggest a stroll through the center of this city declared a Unesco World Heritage Site.

Day 5: (Thursday) BORDEAUX- BLOIS- PARIS.

We cross the French countryside; land of wines: Bordeaux, Cognac. In the Loire Valley we stop in Blois, a city by the river, with its castle, one of the most beautiful examples of architecture in the Loire Valley. Time for lunch and a stroll. Continuation to Paris where we arrive in the late afternoon.

Day 6: (Friday) PARIS.

In the morning we will include a transfer to the Palace of Versailles where you will have free time to stroll through its beautiful gardens or visit the interior of the palace if you wish (for groups visiting on Monday this transfer will take place on Tuesday due to the closure of the palace). We will return to Paris at lunchtime and head to the bohemian district of Montmartre with its small restaurants and outdoor artists. After lunch we will take a panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide. Return to the hotel. Optionally you can attend a variety show.

Day 7: (Saturday) PARIS.

Free day in Paris. If you wish, you can take the optional activity of visiting the Latin Quarter and stroll along the Seine River.

Day 8: (Sunday) PARIS - GENEVA - AOSTA.

We get up early, we have a beautiful stage. We travel to Switzerland. At lunchtime we arrive in Geneva, time for lunch and stroll in this beautiful Swiss city on the shore of its lake. In the afternoon we continue our route to the highest peaks of Europe: the Alps. We cross the Alps through the Mont Blanc low tunnel, one of the longest in Europe. Beautiful alpine landscapes in Italy following the Aosta valley. Arrival at the end of the day in the Aosta region.

Day 9: (Monday) AOSTA - VENICE.

Departure from Aosta to the rich plain of the Po River. Venice, arrival at lunch time (around 1:00 pm). In the afternoon, we include a boat transfer and panoramic walking tour of St. Mark's Square with demonstration of the glass production of the island of Venice. Optionally we suggest you to complete your time with a gondola ride. Overnight stay in the area of Mestre or surroundings.

Day 10: (Tuesday) VENECE - RAVENA - ASIS - ROME.

Following the Venice lagoon we reach Ravenna where we can visit the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Basilica of San Vitale. After that we cross the Apennines to Assisi, free time for lunch and visit the basilicas. Continuation to Rome, arrival at the end of the day.

11th day: (Wednesday) ROME.

We include a panoramic tour of the capital of Italy and one of the most ancient and influential cities in Western civilization. The Colosseum, the Roman forums, the squares and fountains of the center, the great life of the city. We end in St. Peter's Vatican, an independent state within the city of Rome and center of the Catholic Church. You can visit the basilica and museums. In the evening we include a transfer to Trastevere, a lively district of the city known for its typical small restaurants.

Day 12: (Thursday) ROME.

Free day. Optional excursion to Naples, Capri and Pompeii.

Day 13: (Friday) ROME - FLORENCE.

We travel to Florence, capital of Tuscany and cradle of the Renaissance, one of the most visited cities in the country, considered the cradle of the Renaissance and of some of the most influential artists and thinkers in history, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli or Raphael. Highlights include the Gothic cathedral (duomo), the ancient stone bridge (Ponte Vecchio) with its goldsmith stores and Piazza della Signoria - the political heart of the city with the town hall in a medieval building. Free time at leisure.

14th day: (Saturday) FLORENCE - PISA - SESTRI LEVANTE - MONTECARLO - BLUE COAST.

Departure from Florence to Pisa, time to admire its artistic ensemble where the famous Leaning Tower is located. The stage that follows is of extraordinary scenic beauty following the Italian Riviera. Arrival in Sestri Levante, a charming little tourist town by the sea. Time for lunch and a stroll. Continuation to the French Riviera. Arrival mid-afternoon in Monte Carlo, you will have the opportunity to visit its historic Casino. Continuation to Nice; arrival around 20.00 hrs.

Day 15: (Sunday) COSTA AZUL - ARLES - BARCELONA.

We will have time in Nice to stroll around the capital of the Côte d'Azur and the Promenade des Anglais (sometimes this free time can be taken the day before). We will leave for Arles, a city in the heart of Provence that inspired so many of Van Gogh's paintings. Its impressive Roman remains testify to the importance of this city at that time. Time for a stroll and lunch. In the afternoon we continue our route to Catalonia following the Provence. Barcelona. Arrival at the end of the day.

Day 16: (Monday) BARCELONA - MADRID.

In the morning we include a panoramic tour of Barcelona. You will be able to admire this dynamic city. Time to stroll around. At 13:00 h departure from Barcelona to Madrid. Stop at a freeway service area for lunch. Madrid, arrival around 9:00 pm.

Day 17: (Tuesday) MADRID - BOGOTÁ.

Breakfast. At the agreed time in the morning transfer to Madrid airport to take the flight to Bogota.
